I love Marcel Dzambas' work.  So naturally, when I found out that he had done Department Of Eagles' music video for "No One Does It Like You", I was obsessed.

Salad In a Jar?

It's hard to make foods like salads a grab-and-go ordeal. But I will definitely be trying out this option of keeping the salad in a jar with the dressing on the bottom. Just shake and go!

We Are Trees

We Are Trees' plucky strings and wailing vocals remind me of dusky summer nights, and staying in bed all morning. Definitely worth checking out.

Out for a drive

After being in the city for so long, I found myself really missing the mountains. So I decided to take a drive out to Endeavour Road; a really nice lookout point in rural Calgary. From here you get a lovely view of the foothills and rocky mountains beyond. The sky was very clear that night so there was a beautiful sunset. You can really see the progression in the sky moving from a purple/blue to an orange/yellow. I am hoping to get back to the mountains again before the holidays are over, and maybe do some skiing or winter hiking.
