Recently I have noticed that I have been taken with the texture of wood, and the use of wood in design and art works.

Check out this interactive robotic sculpture made by Daniel Rozin.  He uses video combined with a moving sculpture made of wood to give the illusion of a mirror:

On the design side of things, I would really love to snuggle up in to a wooden blanket one of these days:
